Regular Opportunities

DA and RA positions are offered to current Yale School of Architecture graduate students, students from Yale College, and from other professional and graduate programs at Yale, and work part-time during the academic term and full time during the summer. These are hourly paid positions and students work on one or more ongoing projects of the Workshop. Students can apply through the Serlio process or respond to job opportunities on the UDW website and elsewhere.    

Postgraduate Associateships are offered on an annual basis, subject to funding, for recent graduates of professional architecture, planning, urban design and landscape programs, for one year, renewable to a maximum of two. PAs work full time and receive advanced training on the job.        

Community Design Fellowships are offered occasionally and include the opportunity to team teach Yale Courses alongside the faculty directors, and offer the opportunity to collaborate on YUDW projects and develop independent research.
